Jim Holley, founder and president, has been in the dental industry since 1973. Upon graduation from the University of Oklahoma, Jim began his career as a sales representative for one of the nations' largest crown & bridge laboratories. He was assigned a territory which included all of Louisiana, Mississippi, parts of Oklahoma and most of Texas. Over the next six years he visited over 6000 dental offices, which allowed him to gain a unique insight into the needs of the dental community and the dynamics of dental offices.
Having had the opportunity to meet and talk with many thousands of dental professionals, Jim realized that there was a void in the dental market that needed to be filled. Unlike most industries, dentistry did not have a staffing agency dedicated specifically and entirely to the profession. Jim opened Dental Assistance in 1979, becoming Houston first staffing agency specializing in the dental field.
From day one Jim's emphasis has been on providing exceptional people to exceptional practices. To accomplish his goal, each applicant is interviewed personally by Jim, allowing him to discover the applicant's level of experience, personality traits, and career objectives. Jim's thorough and comprehensive interview assures neither the dental office nor the applicant will suffer the frustration of a dead-end interview or an unproductive temporary assignment.
